- Supergirl -- Limited Edition has the distinction of being the very first DVD I ever got and watched. Of the two versions of the movie on this DVD, I watched the Director's Cut first. Prior to this, I had only seen a 112 minute version of the film on Australian TV and Australian VHS, so it was a treat seeing all of the extra footage on the Director's Cut disc.
- Supergirl is admittedly not a very good film due to it's weak script, but it's a guilty pleasure movie for me thanks to the incredibly beautiful Helen Slater, the wonderful flying ballet sequence, some great cinematography by Alan Hume, and the late Jerry Goldsmith's lovely music score.
