 
Years have passed since King Zarkon's invasion of Arus. A team of space explorers approach the planet. Young but determined, these explorers have been sent by the Galaxy Alliance on a special mission: to search for the secret of Voltron. The team of explorers consists of five brave young men: Keith, Pidge, Hunk, Lance and Sven.

- The initial release of this DVD had two major glitches on Disc 3:
-- Episode 11 was missing the last quarter and replaced with the last quarter of Episode 12 (Episode 12 itself was fine though)
-- The Episode 14 selection menu and the Madman Propaganda menu were un-navigatble
The glitch in Episode 11 was caused by iffy timecodes on the episode masters, which resulted in Madman's mastering equipment to incorrectly read the timecodes during the DVD encoding process. The glitches on the Episode 14 selection menu and the Madman Propaganda menu were caused by bad menu compilations. Madman have made fixed copies of the disc. If you have a buggy copy of Disc 3 and want a fixed copy, simply email Madman at order@madman.com.au and request a replacement copy. Fixed copies will sport a small red star next to the Madman logo on the disc label.
- There is an easter egg on Disc 1. To access it, go the the Extras section and make sure the Lion head pointer is next to the "Original Trailer" text. Then press left on your DVD player's remote control and the Voltron cross insignia will appear in the top-left corner of the screen. Hit the enter button on your remote control to play the easter egg.
