 
From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend ... the legend of Beast King Golion. Golion is the original Japanese show cut to create the 80s cartoon classic VOLTRON. After the total annihilation of Earth, five astronauts return from a space mission to find their homes gone. Kogane, Kurogane, Suzuishi, Seidou and Shirogane are picked up by a scavenging slave ship from the Galra Empire, and sent to the vile Emperor Daibazaal's dungeons. Risking their lives, they escape to the planet of Altea and join forces with it's last princess, Fala. Their goal is five ancient robot lions that can be combined to form the super robot Golion. The mettle of these five astronauts is tested against war, witchcraft, cannibalism, and the murder of one of their own. |

- Due to a disc packaging error, several copies of this DVD was originally released with two copies of Disc 2 and no copies of Disc 3 in them. There's been no word yet from Media Blasters regarding the screw up, and nor has there been any word on how folks without Disc 3 can obtain it.
