While in search of new worlds to combat the over-population crisis that has hit the galaxy, the Voltron Force discover a promising planet. But soon after arriving on the planet they come under attack from the Drule Empire, who are also in need of a world of their own. |
The Galaxy Alliance begins construction on the new planet. Hazar plots to take the planet from them once construction is completed, but Quork, believing that once the Alliance has a foothold of the planet it will be impossible to take it from them, launches an attack fleet instead. |
Still on the new planet, the Voltron Force are given an ultimatum from Hazar: leave or the Drules will destroy the planet.

The Sea Team are sent into a black hole to investigate the source of a mysterious mayday signal, unaware that they are falling into a Drule trap. |
The exploration fleet discovers an uninhabited barren planet and the Land Team are sent down to investigate. What originally appeared to be a straightforward exploration becomes complicated when it's discovered someone else may have already have a claim to the planet. |
The Explorer sustains damage after being caught in a meteor storm and must undergo repairs. Having
observed what happened to the vessel, Mongo elects not to take immediate advantage of the situation when
he realises the Explorer is in the path of another impending meteor shower, hoping that that particular storm
will destroy the Voltron Force. |
A back-up squadron has been assigned to protect the Explorer while it's on a mission of peace in Drule
territory. While enroute to the vessel, the squadron comes under attack from the Drules and refuses offers of
help from the Voltron Force, forcing Jeff to disobey Commander Hawkins and fly himself and the rest of the
Voltron Force out to save the squadron. |
When they discover a new world, the Voltron Force encounter a fleet of decrepit 'ghost ships'. Meanwhile,
the new world's water harbours a threat that could destroy the Explorer. |
While waiting for the arrival of a supply convoy, the Voltron Force lands on Planet Nanos for some rest and
recreation. But the break is short-lived when the supply convoy, and the Voltron Force themselves, come
under Drule attack. |
The Voltron Force investigates a new planet in which it's only living inhabitants are bats. While exploring a
cave, Modok is attacked by a group of bats and falls gravely ill. This puts the Voltron Force at a disadvantage
when they are suddenly attacked by the Drules as they cannot form Voltron without Modok. |
A young Drule pilot, Sandu, crash-lands after a training run goes awry and is rescued by the Voltron Force
and taken aboard the Explorer to recover. Shannon is not happy with the Drule's presence aboard the ship,
feeling that the Voltron Force shouldn't be friends with Drules. |
A dead world reminds Wolo of his brother and their home planet. But his reminiscing separates him from the
Voltron Force ... and into trouble. |
To win a bet with Brak, Nerok sends out a distress signal from Planet Itlan in hope of luring the Voltron Force into a trap. |
Brocca's Comet passes the Explorer and is being monitored by both the Voltron Force and the Drules. The Drules plot to use the comet's lunar effect to their advantage. |
Commander Hawkins meets with Mongo to discuss a possible partnership between the Alliance and the Drules in the exploration of new worlds. However, Brak, who disapproves of any such joint ventures, has other ideas. |
A temporary but uneasy truce between the Alliance and the Drules has been established. Trouble within Drule ranks begin when Brak leads a revolt against Hazar. |
With time running out for Planet Drule, Hazar begins to wonder if peace is now the best chance for the
survival of his people. Meanwhile, Captain Newley is being transferred out of the Explorer to Galaxy Garrison
headquarters. |
The Voltron Force and the Drules hold a joint exploration of Planet Zay. All goes well until Nerok, who is
opposed to the joint exploration, shows up and launches an attack against the Voltron Force. |
The Voltron Force investigates Planet Neb and finds the planet has many face-like statues. Meanwhile, Nerok
goes against Hazar's orders to avoid contact with the Alliance fleets and plots to attack the Voltron Force. |
A new Alliance supply base is established under the command Colonel Cross. When the Drules attack the
base, Cross, out of pride, refuses to call the Voltron Force for help. When Krik senses something is wrong at
the base, the Voltron Force fly to the base only for Jeff to wind up being knocked out during the course of
the fighting, forcing the rest of the Voltron Force to form Voltron without his head. |
